Lake County has a rich, diverse literary community of writers from all backgrounds and experience, genres and styles; from poetry to fiction, non-fiction to memoir.
In June 2022, the traditional monthly Lakeport Writers’ Group returns with rotating literary hosts. Overseen by Lake County Poet Laureate 2024-2026 Brenda Yeager on the 2nd Thursday of every month from 5:30- 7:30pm at the Main Street Gallery in Lakeport.
